Mr. Feldman has litigated throughout the 5 Boroughs of New York City, Rockland and Westchester County as well as the New Jersey counties of Hudson, Bergen, Passaic and Essex. He has also successfully appealed numerous decisions at the Appellate Division Second Department in Brooklyn.

The Feldman firm will handle your case in the most economical and efficient manner. Lawsuits are filed without delay and prosecuted in the most expeditious way. However, if the client wishes to resolve the claim as soon as possible, Barry Feldman often persuades the defendant's insurance company to submit the case for either Binding Arbitration or Mediation. These forms of Alternative Dispute Resolution take place outside of the Court system. Through Arbitration the personal injury award will be determined at a hearing by an Arbitrator who is either an experienced injury attorney or a retired judge. The Arbitrator's decision is binding and is very difficult to appeal in Court. Mediation, on the other hand, is a process in which a Mediator, who again is either an attorney or former judge, will hold several private meetings with both sides during the course of a few hours in order to help negotiate a settlement. Some of our firm's biggest settlements were negotiated through mediation.
